There was an air of mystical magic at The Grounds of Alexandria on Friday, November 1st, as we staged a celestial-themed brunch with guests from the media world and influential circles to launch our first ever collaboration with Sydney creative - Tara Milk Tea.
Wanderlust + Co is a long-time friend of Tara Whiteman; photographer, content creator, intrepid wanderer and the woman behind leading travel blog Tara Milk Tea. Together, we have drawn on Tara’s exotic travels around the world to create a galactic jewellery collection, serving as an inspiration to reach for the stars.
The Wanderlust + Co x Tara Milk Tea capsule collection features seven-piece jewellery that encapsulates the magic of Sydney sunsets, through crescent and starburst accents.
Wanderlust + Co founder Jenn Low and Tara Whiteman were both mingling with guests and giving welcome speeches on their experience of working together on the exclusive collection.
“It’s so rewarding to be launching this in Australia as I first came up with the idea of the brand in Melbourne back in 2009 – how exciting for our journey to come full circle. Tara has always been a supportive friend of the brand since 2015. We hope that the synergy of our creative voices flow through the wearable yet celestial pieces, encouraging all to keep dreaming,” shared Jenn Low, founder of Wanderlust + Co.
Following Jenn’s speech, Tara Whiteman shared the significance behind the #WCOxTaraMilkTea collection. “I’ve worked with Jenn and Wanderlust + Co from almost the beginning of my career. Being able to create a jewellery collection with them means so much to me! We incorporated star and moon motifs throughout the collection as a tribute to my love for the universe and our mutual appreciation of unknown adventures. I hope these celestial designs will transport people to different places and see magic amongst the stars.” she said.
The entire #WCOxTaraMilkTea capsule collection – Be the Light, Makes Me Wonder, Daydreamer and Make Magic series – were all on display for guests to get up close and personal with. A nod to the brand’s cosmic journey, tarot reader, Madame O, treated guests to discover their magic through individual fortune readings
The light-filled atrium at The Grounds shimmered like a constellation, with white floral clouds and starry droplets cascading from the ceiling in reflection of the collection’s celestial theme.
